Well, the world of Kombucha is very interesting at present. With recent removal from shelves at Whole Foods many are wondering what the heck is going on with kombucha. Well, the deal is this. Depending on the production methods used, kombucha can contain more alcohol than the .5% allowed in non-alcoholic beverages. We have tested every major brand of raw kombucha on the market and have been delighted that we have consistently been the lowest alcohol overall. All of the producers we have talked to are working on good solutions to make sure the alcohol content is below the limit. We are still selling kombucha and do not plan to stop any time soon. We plan to be back on the market fully by the end of July, but there are still some unknowns we are figuring out in terms of what the large retailers want from us. We are working with all of the applicable govermnent agencies, and have a great handle on the situation, so our appologies for any inconvenience.
